Chain Bridge
The list of places to see in Budapest is quite extensive, but I would like to mention the last member of the magnificent trio: the Chain Bridge; Along with the Parliament Building and St. Stephen's Basilica, it is among the 3 important symbols of the city. Chain Bridge, which was built by Szechenyi between 1842 and 1849, took its name from the hanging chains that offer an interesting view. This historic and impressive building lies on the Danube River, which divides Budapest into the Pest and Buda regions. Although the Chain Bridge is the original name, Hungarian people also call it the Lion Bridge because there are lion statues at the feet and entrances of the bridge.
